With the rapid advancement in technology, the mechanic's job has evolved from purely mechanical, to include electronic technology which helps us find problems when we give the estimate not after the work is done. Because vehicles today possess complex computer and electronic systems, mechanics need to have a broader base of knowledge than in the past so we continue to go to school, workshops, seminars and webinars to stay on top of our game.
